Meet Wendy
Wendy Mattson is a Managing Partner based in Atlanta, Georgia.
As a Managing Partner at Yari Capital, Wendy provides the strategic leadership that strengthens the organization, enhances the client experience, and supports long-term growth. She sets the vision and direction for the firm while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Wendy plays an active role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring every interaction reflects the firm’s commitment to exceptional service. She oversees the planning and execution of client events designed to strengthen partnerships, showcase the organization, and create meaningful opportunities for engagement. With a focus on quality, professionalism, and attention to detail, Wendy helps ensure every client experience reinforces confidence in the Yari Capital team.
Internally, Wendy supports the firm’s operations by promoting clear communication, streamlining processes, and providing team members with the resources and guidance they need to succeed. She is passionate about encouraging innovation, empowering employees to take ownership of their work, and leading initiatives that improve organizational efficiency while positioning the firm for continued success.
Before joining Yari Capital, Wendy began her career in the apparel industry at AmericasMart, where she developed expertise in sales, merchandising, client relationship management, and event coordination within a fast-paced wholesale marketplace. As an Account Executive with Freddy Simon & Associates, she further expanded her experience in business development, vendor relations, showroom presentation, and delivering exceptional client service.
Building on that foundation, Wendy has grown her leadership experience to include executive leadership, organizational management, strategic marketing, operations management, and client event planning. She remains committed to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends, leadership best practices, and innovative approaches to marketing, operations, and client engagement.
Wendy earned her degree in Marketing and Design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro).
Outside the office, Wendy enjoys supporting her daughter, Maybrie Yari Mattson, and celebrating her many accomplishments. She is also an active member of the University of Miami’s Atlanta Canes community, where she enjoys connecting with fellow alumni and supporters. Go Canes!
Giving back is an important part of Wendy’s life. She is passionate about supporting charitable initiatives that benefit communities in the Republic of Georgia and believes in using her time and resources to make a positive impact both locally and internationally. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, and reading, helping her stay active, continue learning, and maintain a healthy balance between her professional and personal life.
